This Refund Policy applies to purchases of Spark Brain Training (“Spark”, the “Product”) operated by Arcarius Consulting Ltd (the “Supplier”). It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
If local consumer protection laws give you stronger rights than this Policy, those rights always prevail. Nothing here limits your mandatory consumer rights.
1. Refund window (14 days)
You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the date of your Transaction. The 14-day window starts on the Transaction date shown on your receipt or confirmation email.
This 14-day period matches the discretionary refund window used by Paddle for purchases where Paddle is the merchant of record. Where a longer or stronger statutory withdrawal / cancellation right applies in your country (for example under EU/UK consumer law), that longer or stronger right applies instead.
2. Purchases through Paddle (Merchant of Record)
When you check out through Paddle, Paddle is the authorised reseller / merchant of record. You buy from Paddle; Spark (Arcarius Consulting Ltd) supplies the Product under our Supplier terms.
For those Transactions, refunds and withdrawals are also governed by Paddle’s Refund Policy and Buyer Terms. Where there is any difference, the highest level of consumer protection that applies to you will be honoured.
To request a refund on a Paddle purchase, use one of these options:
- the “View receipt” or “Manage subscription” link in your Paddle confirmation email;
- Paddle’s buyer support at paddle.net; or
- email us at [email protected] and we will help route your request.
3. Purchases processed directly by Spark (e.g. Stripe)
For website subscriptions billed directly by Spark (not via Paddle), request a refund within the same 14 calendar days of purchase by emailing [email protected] with the email address on your account and your order or receipt details.
Eligible refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible, typically within 14 days of approval.
4. What a refund covers
- A refund under this Policy is for the Transaction you are withdrawing from or cancelling within the refund window (including the initial payment under a subscription).
- If you receive a refund, access to the relevant Product for that Transaction will end.
- Recurring subscription renewals that fall outside the applicable refund or statutory withdrawal window are not refundable under this Policy, except where required by law. You can always cancel to stop future charges (see below).
5. Cancellation (stop future billing)
You may cancel your subscription at any time so you are not charged again. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. Cancelling is separate from requesting a refund within the 14-day window.
How to cancel is described in our Subscription Policy. For Paddle purchases you can also cancel via the manage-subscription link in your Paddle email.
6. App Store and Google Play
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by those stores, not by Spark or Paddle. Refunds for those purchases follow the App Store or Google Play refund policies and must be requested through them.
7. Defects and access problems
If a material technical issue or Product defect prevents you from accessing what was described at purchase, contact [email protected] first. If we cannot resolve it, and the purchase was made through Paddle, you may also contact Paddle support. Where there is evidence of a material defect, a refund will be issued in line with applicable consumer protection laws.
8. Fraud and abuse
Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour. This does not affect your lawful consumer rights.
